She is considered full term tomorrow 2/10/11

Went for another Dr appt today. Still no dilation but tomorrow String Bean is considered full term. What a relief, really! I am so glad to know I have carried this little one without complications to full term. Which, I might add is very scary to know that now she will have to come out!
I still have 3 weeks to prepare but she could come anytime.

UPDATE:
Still measuring well and slowed on the weight gain......glad about that. I will be glad to get this weight off asap!

Carpet was installed today. I will post photos tomorrow after everything is moved in.

Her very own tree....

Daddy hand painted a beautiful leaf blowing blossom tree in String Beans room yesterday. It is the most perfect touch! I am so lucky to have a very talented, creative and artistic husband. Thank you so much love bug. Your daughter is going to LOVE it!

Nursery update 2/5/11

Sheet Rocker finished at 7 am this morning, so dad and Steve jumped on the paint at 8. With the help of our trusty paint sprayer gun, primer was on in no time! I couldn't believe my eyes when lunch time came around and the ceiling was all sparkling white too. By 5:30 pm tonight all was finished including all three accent walls. Thanks to all of the help from my two fav men,  string beans items will be moved in by Thursday. I didn't even have to lift a finger today :)

36 weeks

Went to see my midwife on Wednesday. No dilation as of right now. I am continuing to have some small B H contractions. Still measuring good. She is defiantly running out of room in my stomach. The nights seem long but I am trying really hard to rest or at least sit down in the day. I get really really tired around 4 pm.  I have defiantly started to stress about baby coming. The nesting is taking over and I am sure  it seems funny to watch. I have organized her clothing by months and thinking next week I will wash. She already has two bags full!

We now are now seeing my midwife every week. Our bags are packed for the hospital and I think the car seat will be put in the car some time next week or the following. Should start painting her room, my office and bathroom tomorrow and Sunday. Plan to tile the bathroom Sunday too.  Doors will be hung Monday and Tuesday and carpet will be here on Wednesday. I can't wait to move all her baby stuff in on Thursday 2/10. Really anxious to watch Steve assemble the crib HA HA!

We are taking a weekend trip to Seattle on 2/12. Last trip before baby. Baby and I will be attending two showers in honor of String bean on Saturday and Sunday. Family and friends will be there. I am so looking forward to seeing everyone!

Today at 2 pm was string bean's first shower. Many friends and family showered us with the most wonderful gifts. Thank you all who came. Steve and I are very excited to meet our little one in a few short weeks!

Nursery Update III

Not too much has changed as far as the last nursery update. We are a little behind now due to the sheet rocker being sick :(
I think we are only behind like 2 days but I can't help stressing about it a bit when I only have 4 weeks and a few days left till due date.....OH MY GOSH!!!!!!! I seem to be freaking out a bit,   LOL

I keep thinking she is going to come early which make me really worry. From what I have heard most recently is that the "project" should be ready for carpet and move in by Feb 7th or 8th. The room is really coming together as far as decor. Its hard to still see it all in the corner for now but I can at least picture it  :) Paint has been purchased and ready to slap on.
Co sleeper and car seat arrived a few days ago. Armoire and rocking chair is finished. Crib got here a few weeks ago and ready for daddy to set up (hint hint) as well as a few other items. Looking forward to having this large project all finished and ready to go. She is going to love her room :)

The last Hurrah!!

My dad turned 57 on January 24th.                  HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD!

 We all packed up for a quick trip to Great Wolf Lodge and then Long Beach. I watched everyone play on the water slides while I floated weightlessly in the pool. The staff upgraded us to a large suite thanks to this big belly of mine. I must say at that moment and that moment only I was happy to be 34 3/4 weeks pregnant!!! :)
We then got up early the next morning and headed to Long Beach for a little beach time. It was a great little get a way from it all before baby. Here are a few photos we took Thursday evening.....
