The beginning of fall....

Here are some updated pictures of the last few weeks....

Annison turns 6 months old!

While we were in Long beach for the rod run, Annison turned 6 months. Last year at the rod run I was pregnant and we were all discussing how this year Sting Bean would be 6 months old. It was so hard to picture that then....and here we are! Crazy!!
Annison is doing lots of new and exciting things. She started drinking from a sippy cup, eats homemade baby food twice a day (loves pears, peaches mixed with banana and avocado is her favorite).
She is getting pretty good at sitting up on her own. She would rather stand then sit any day! Also enjoys her exersaucer in the kitchen while I cook dinner.
Annison also grew a tooth this past week!!! No wonder she has not been sleeping very well. Poor baby :(
She has taken quite the interest in Tek. Not sure yet if he is a fan but tolerates her at this very moment. I'm sure they will be best buds when she figures out how to toss food off her high chair :)

That's about all to report now.

As for Steve and I, we are good. Working  a lot  but wedding season is coming to an end this month so things will start to slow. Restrooms are in the plans this fall for next years season. So excited to have flushing toilets! Steve has been working LONG hours too. But thankfully we have been able to mix in a little R and R here and there.

Long Beach Rod Run 2011

We attend the 28th annual car show in Long beach this last weekend. It was so warm! We had lots of fun looking and drooling over all the cars. Annison even sat in the beach high chair and ate lunch. Gosh she is growing up so fast!

She is no longer a newborn

Well...... we have hit another big milestone! Steve and I have enjoyed the special bond with Annison next to us each night for the last 5+mo. She is no longer a newborn and needed to start sleeping in her own bed. I started the transition about 2 weeks ago. When she fell asleep I would wrap her tight and lay her down. Getting her use to sleeping without us holding her and the introduction of her crib.
Steve and I talked about it all this last week. So last night we did the routine and when she fell asleep at 8pm we both tip toed into her room and from that moment on we had silence till 7 am this morning!! I think the transition was much harder on me then Annison. I have loved having her so close to me, listening to her breathe and knowing she was OK. I guess that is why I got up twice in the night to check on her....Of course she was just fine!

Long Beach Kite Festival

The annual Kite Festival in Long beach Washington took place this last weekend/week. The three of us headed out on Sunday and arrived to some awesome weather....the entire trip!
Visited with Jan and Mac and even got in a little beach time with wine and a walk to the water. It was a nice little get away.
