Easter Sunday

Annison's first Easter was spent in Seattle with Steve's family. We arrived on Saturday and got a chance to see Heidi and Jameson in Mill Creek for a little girl time too. What a treat! We had a nice weekend and enjoyed watching all the kids hunt for eggs. Annison will find more next year :)

Last weekend we headed to Long Beach for a little r & r with family and to dig some clams. The weather was great and we enjoyed some fun in the sun. Here are a few of the highlights of the weekend....

Mommy and Annison

Annison and I have had some bonding time being together all day while daddy has to work :( She sits in the front pack and sleeps while I work from home. She is doing good with her feedings as I have gotten the hang of things as well. Every 2 hours during the day seems to be the current schedule and gets up once sometimes twice to eat in the night. Lucky us!! Her baths are still a crying session but we hope she will be splashing in no time. I have her rubber ducky's ready :)
She finally lost her belly button plug so diaper changes feel way better now. Speaking of diaper changes, Annison and I headed to town yesterday to get some spring flowers at Home Depot. We headed in and while she slept I got some items. I headed over to Target and took advantage of my sleeping baby. When she woke up I fed her and  gave her a quick diaper change. To my surprise she had poop all the way up to her ears! LOL
Of course I didn't pack another outfit except an extra onesie. So we had to cut the day short and go home in just that. She was as happy as a clam! I have attached a few photos of mommy and Annison..........

Great Grandma and Great Grandpa

This weekend Annison was introduced to her Great Grandma and Great Grandpa. My sweet grandma has Alzheimer's and is cared for full time by my grandpa. She always wanted great grand children but the disease took her before us kids had any children. Even though my grandma has no memory, It meant so much to me to get her photo with Annison.
Grandpa really enjoyed Annison as well as the rest of the family. Happy 78th Birthday Grandma. We love you so much!

Steve and I put together our own little studio here in our home and snapped some really awesome pictures of Annison. It took us about 4 hours to get these sweet little sleeping photos but was worth the wait! Today she is 3 weeks old. Can't believe it. I am really enjoying the quality time I have with her. Steve has been so incredibly helpful, loving and supportive to both of our needs these last couple of weeks. It hasn't always been peaches and cream but we seem to be adjusting well now.
Annison is sleeping on average 5 hrs a night. She weighed in at 7 lb 9 oz (her birth weight) on Monday. She is eating better and we are both getting the hang of nursing now.  Here are some of the photos taken last week............
